RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The athletic events will bo run under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Nominations close with the Secl&taries on Monday, March 18th, at 8 p.m. H. Oonijpetitors in the athletic events must send in a list of performances for the past two years. 'lf no wins (for two years, marks of starts from previous'events must bo stated. ■ •1. Acceptances and entrance fees for other events clow on the ground twentv minutes before each event. 5. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied bv a fee of 2s 6d, which will he forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the .sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No firs* prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. 9. Note.— All horses nominating (iro local events) must have been in the district at least two months prior to the date of the sports.
