SALE AT MAURICEVILLE
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantilo Agency Coy., Ltd., report: —On Tliuxsuay, the 18t.li inst., acting under instructions from t'ho trustees of the kite Ohaides Bolfeins, we held a very successful salo on the farm at Mauricevftlle of Hve's'toek and plaint, and of furniture, etc., on the .premises known as the M-auriceviMe Hotel. The dairy cows and young cattle offered iwe.ro in first-class 'condition, and sold well up to late ruling nates. Sheep were also strongly competed for. 'J he following is tluo range of prices realised : —Sheep —2 and 4-4ooth wethers, lis 9d, lis 7d ; aged ewes with lambs, 4s Id, a'H counted. Cattle —Dairy cows, best, £5 to £6 15s, second suality, £4 to £oj aged cows, £2 Is to £3 7s; dry cows, very forward, £4, £4 os, to £4 17s; 2year off steers, £5 7s (id; 2-year off heifers, £4 8s; 15-months steers, £3 10s; 15-months heifers, £3 Is; calves, 30s to 36,5; sow, £2 9s; slips, £1 5s Gd.
