RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The 'athletic events will bo run under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Nominations close with the Secretaries om Monday, March 18th, at 8 p.m. 3. 'Ooinrjetito.rs in the athletic evr ents must send in a list'of performances for the past two years, If no wins ifor two years, marks of starts from previous'events must bo stated. -■I. Acceptances and entrance fees for other events close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 5. No -nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Pa-otests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee <of 2s 6d, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse, events ss. 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. - 9. (Note.— All horses nominating (in local events) must have been in the district at least two months prior to the date of the sports. They must also be the property of bona fide residents of.the district, otherwise they will be disqualified. 10. The committee reserve the right to alter the order in wihich the events will he run.
