SERIOUS ACCIDENT
FALL OF SEVENTY FEET. (By Telegraph — Press Association.) GJSBORNK, Last Night. Harry Field, a single man aged -15 years, a carter employed by the Public Works Department, met with a serious accident at Hakauroa, near (iis-borne, to-day. " Field was driving an empty dray along a narrow road, when his horse shied and precipitated the vehicle over a eliif, and all fell 70 feet to the bottom. The man was thrown clear of the dray, but received serious injury to the back, and was badly bruised. He was conveyed to town this evening by train, and admitted to the Hospital. His condition is not critical.
