STACKING RATES
FOR OVERSEA CARGOES. (Received This Morning, LIS o'olock.y MELBOURNE, January 18. The stevedores are increasing the' stacking rates for oversea cargoes by 2d per ton, making the rate 10$ d. They pointed out that during the year, they were compelled to increase the wftoarf labourers' wages 26 per cent.
