A CAPITAL SELECTION. (Received Last Night, 9.30 o'clock.) LONDON, January 17. At the wool sales, 19,314 bales were offered. There was a capital selection. • There was a food attendant of buyers, and spirited competition, chiefly from Yorkshire and German spinners. Merinos were unchanged, and crossbred's sold at 5 per cent, above December closing rates.
