TROPHY COMPETITIONS. Tsie Opaki Rifle Club fired trophy competitions on Thursday and Saturday l&st, ove<r y00 3 500 tfuwi 600 yards. Cbloured figure targets were 'used, the bull's-eye being 8 inches at 300 and ■lB inches at 500 and 600 yards. The Thursday squad were favoured with ideal conditions, ana three possibles were recorded,, but the Saturday men were ft.ced with wind and rain, and their competition Was declared closed at oCO yards.
