Mr Edward J; Morley passed away at Nelson last Thursday. Belonging to an old Nelson family, .Mr Morley passed has early days in the city, and then left to follow commercial pursuits in other parts of New Zealand. As traveller for Hayman and Co., and later Kemptihorne, Pmsser ajtid Co., he ibecame well known throughout the Dominion.
The death of Mrs Jane Boyne Lawrence, at the age. of 93,. As reported from Kaitan&ata. Mrs Lawrence oame to Now Zealand in the Strathfie'idsaye aibout 54' years ago, arriving at Port Chalmers with her late husband and family. Slie went round to Coal point in a whale boat, and after two years removed to Wangaloa, at wlhicih place they permanently resided. Mre Lawrence had a ■ family, of. 10, of whom seven are still alive..
