HANDLING OF FRUIT
IS THERE A TRUST? (Received January 13, 10.15 a.m.) HOBART, January 12. A deputation asked the Federal Prime Minister (Mi- Andrew Fisher) to set up a Royal c'ommtission-'to enquire into the exportation, transppr•fcition, and inarkeing of fruit. The deputation declared that shipping space was in the hands of two firms. Mr Fisher promised to recommend that a commission be set up.
