MONTHLY MEETINC. The monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees was held last night, there being present: Messrs E. G. Eton (chairmiam), C. E. Daniell, T. B. Michel. 0. Bragnell, W. H. Jackson, R. terahagen, D. Caselberg and J. H. Pauling. E. Wickens wrote, offering to. rent the' corner Jiop in the "Star" block.— The secretary reported that matters ini this connection had been satisfactorily arranged. A tetter was received from S. and W. Mackay, agreeing to the terms for the lease, and suggesting that the lease start from January 22nd.—Lefit in the hands of the Building Committee, with instructions to start the lease on date of occupation. An application trom Constance M. Evans for a matriculation grant was referred! to the Scholarship Committee. The treasurer reported a credit balance of £1129 14s. ■ Accounts totalling £32B' 19s were passed for pavment. The Press' representatives were asked to .retire while the Town Hall Conwnattee's report was dealt with. The renort of the Building Comy m.itte was read and adopted. -
