MEETING -. COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Committee of the Musterton: .Lawn Tennis Club was held in Messrs Levin and Co.'s office last evening, -when there were present Rev. Dtean iloKenaia (presiding), and ■Messrs N. D. Bunting, D. Caselberg, A. R. Sclanders, &. A. Noble-Camp-bel, N. H. James, H. H. Pavitt and H. M. Boddington. . Messrs jS t . I). Bunting, A. R. Sclanders, and S. A. .Noble-Campbell were appointed a sub-committee to revise rules <md to .submit a new set for adoption at the next annual meethig. . „ Arrangements in connection witth the forth.ccmii.ng tournament _ (the seventeenth championship .m'eeting to be held under the auspices of the Club), were next' considered in detail. • -,'■,! Owing to the fact that considerable interference to games in progress lias been, caused on past occasions . by spectators and others passing up and down behind the courts, it was decided to endeavour on this occasion to awake such arrangements for the passage of onlookers as will obviate any inconvenience- of this nature again being in evidence. In regard, to the catering for the tournament, it was resolved to adhere to the isystem followed last year, viz., morning and afternoon tea. will he provided 'free to competitors on both davs of the tournament. Raspberries and cream and morning and afternoon tea may 'be obtained at all hours during the play by spectators ■and their friends on payment of a smal. charge. •. . Wiith the object of getting the grounds in thorough order for the tournament, the Committee have decided to close.'the courts for play as fi'Qin to-day.
