Four rounds of the conn solation prize competition, were played-, and the fina} wiSl be played tomorrow, between Prince's Newtowtnl team and McGregor's Carlton four* The former team comprises H. Sex-* ton ? J. Sexton, Price and Prince (igkip), and the latter team Parker* Otter, Lamib, and McGregor (skip)., T!he final, will-be played in the Lastl Try competition between Walker's Ponsonby team, comprising Casey* Gardner, Smaddon, and Walker, and the winners or the Hemingway (Vic* toria) and Gordon (St. John's)! match.
