One jof the largest country epprfcsi gatherings ever held in the Wairar* lajpa eventuated ton the Langdale' Domain, yesterday. A number of Masifcerton people took advantage of the beautiful w&ufcher, and visitors were present from "ell- parts of the coumtry. Tbe prize mohey donated for! the different events produced numerous entries, and excellent fields started. As usual, the mounted events were interesting from start to- finish. Th& sikier rose Ibowl (valued at 25 guineas) attracted many competitors.. Tine winerm, Mr JR. D. Morrison/a "Grey Dawn," jumped exceedingly' ttoll. -Mr Gr.
