OPENED AT AUCKLAND.

AUCKLAND, Last Night. There way a small offering of 6672- I boles at the local wool sales to-day,! conrfijned largely to crossbreds. The advance in prices recorded at the first sale was well marntaiiued.' Inferior orossbreds realised 6.id to 7id; medSpecially picked lines of half breds this morning brought-up to Hid. The sales recorded an advance of id to Id per lb on wools suitable .for America. For poorly grown and faulty .wool tihe bicldii/iig was irregular at November rates.
NAPIER.. Last NightThe catalogue of the second wool sale of the season, next Tuesday, will comprise about 20,300 hales. some 4000 more than for the corresponding .sale of last year. The .wool is opening out in excellent condition, and prices are expected to (fully maintain the November level.. Buyers wfllli include six representative's of French 'houses. WELLINGTON, Last Nigjit. At (the January wool sales, com- | mencing at- Wellington to-moiux>w, I 17,466 Ibales will be offered, being 500 less than at the suijje sale last year.
LONDON WOOL MARKET. Messrs Balgetv and Co. have received (the following cablegram from .their London house, dated Stli inst.— Wool: List of arrivals have closed, and al vour wools have arrived in time. The new arrivals amount to 353,000 bales. 181,000 have been forwarded direct to manufacturers art HonVe and abroad ; 10,0(30 bales are from old stocks, leaving available for sale 182,000 bales.
