INSPECTOR FULLER'S CASE. THE TRAMWAYMEN RETIRE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. At an .adjourned special meeting to-night, the City Council further i considered, the case of Inspector Fuller, of the Tramways Department. _ j inspector Fuller was present, with Mr Berdmam, his counsel. Tthe representatives of the Tran> w-av employees were also present, hut declined to tabs any part in the proceedings iif counsel was permitted to remain. They urged that Fuller ought to he a.ble to defend himself. The Council! decided to adhere to the previous decision to allow Inspector Fuller to have legal assistance, whereupon the Union representatives withdrew, and t'he inquiry proceeded in their absence. Inspector FuJ.iov urnd-6 si in reply to the charges formulated by the Union, Mr Herdnuui putting leading; questions from time to time, with a view to assisting him there-
