Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the foMowdsig Biimmary and foreeast : 'fove barometer lias fallen generally, but has risen, -slightly in the South to-day, though cloudy. in, parts. Wa-rm and hazy weather has continued in .most parts, with mode-race variable winds.. (Present indications are for changeable aud.cloudy weather and unsettled for a short time iiu the southern and northern districts, condition& feeing somewhat .threatening in the Cutter districts', 10-diay moderate to strong southeasterly wind's are probable in and - southward of Cook Strait and' northerly elsewhere. The barometer is due,to rise in the South, /bait a further temporary fall is probable in the north.
