Wliani Smith, aged 55, a lrutclyer, was run over l>y a motor car on ■Saturday, and died tins morning. 1 lie deceased, with two others, heard the "toot" cf the motor.- The others jumped clear, hut the deceased., who Is blind in one eye, jumped in front uf the car, which was on the right ■side of the road, and travelling at a normal speed.
