Mr I'l. G. Jel'licco wa® fast drifting "towards Socialism. Ho has re-visited New Zcalaoid, after an absence of several' years, and ins Socialism' has evaporated. In an interview with, the London "Standard" he says that all his (political views have been falsified by the working of Socialistic reform® in New Zealand. Individual thrift and enterprise have, he says, been tiubstantia'ily ! annihilated, and New Zealand is almost on t-'he brink of ruin. The Arbitration' Acts are spurious, audi have resulted in the creation of a host of well-paid official's, w'ho live by harassing trade and industry. A similar mad Socialistic wave has, adds- Mr Jellicoe, evertaken Australia.
