MEETING OF STEWARDS. The monthly meeting of Stewards of the Mastea'ibooi tracing Club was •held ant Saturday afternoon, there being present,—Messrs' O. F. VaMantoe (<&&iiir>miaini), J. B. Moodie, A. G. P&nier, G. H. Yaites, W. 'Cooper, C. J. Bennett, O. C. Cooper, J. Mascara, IX McLaohian, and F. Dorset. Mr A. E. Wbyte, secretary of the WteSlinlgton) Racing Oub, forwarded a, trainees license for J. J. Cooper; jockeys' lksemseg for T. Carroll and [WI Glarrett; and genitfemen riders' licenses for H. 'E. Russell', J. Haxton and G. Bottomiey. The Secretary submitted a flfeatemeiilt of receipts' and expenditure in connection! wMi the recent meeting. This showed a loss omu the meeting of £33 12b 7d. It was decided that the Building Comanitlfcee be asked to furnish a statement of the extra, buildings lequired,, together with the financial position of the Oluib. It waft resolved, to' ask Mr Greville the lowest bedrock price he would accept for the scales used at the last meeting, and what teruis he would offer the Oiiub.
