AUSTRALIAN ''BARRACKLNG." ENGLISHMEN'S CONTEMPT. (Received January 5, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, January 4. Writing to the Evening News, Mr J. B. Ilobbs strongly protests against the barracking by small coteries, especially during the New South Waies match. , "This form of bad taste made the Englishmen feel a great contempt for a portion o-f fclio Australian crowd, but the genuine sportsmen had. done much to make us comfortable," said Mr Hobbs. "The great sympathy shown to Mr Warner makes us warm-hciart-ed towards the Australians f.nd forget our annoyances."
