TROUBLE AT MELBOURNE INCREASED PAY WANTED. (Received Last Night, 9.20 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, January 4. Sluifpping was held up to-day while the whartf labourers, met bo discusstihe question of an increase in. pay from fifteen to seventeen pence per hour. The meeting, which was extreme3!y noisy, appointed delegates to confer wdrtito the representatives '•■ of the SSteam&hilp Owners' Federation on Monday. In the meantime the men will resume to-morrow.
