The- "Eltlinra wihich is edited by Mr. W. O. \F. Carnoross, M.L.C., hbWs» the same opinion as the "Wairarapa Age" concerning the political situation. It states that a dbadilock appears to face, the man;, whoever he is, .who attempts to form a new Government, and it concludes by saying:—"We believe that what would ibest please the .country at the present time would be a combination formed from both sidles of the House, a party iJiat would be independent of any third party.
