PROFESSOR MILLS.
Professor Mills, the organiser of the Labour Party in New Zealand, was interviewed' on Monday at Auckland on the political situation. In the course of his remarks he said:— ''l dto not anticipate another .election within the uisual three yea re. From the standpoint of Labour, it is a. matter of entire indSfference as to wiliich party hcidis the offices, and whichever party shall l get them, I am quite confident, could borrow votes enough firom among members ctf any Opposition who would rat/her stick to tihe office they have than* take the chances of amother election, to keep whatever party gets the power in power for the uisual three years.. If the Labour Party caaiv have three years to work in, andi gets to work a's 1 ' it promises to do after three years, we may reasonably focik for a. Labour Ministry,. Tlhas, of cc!UiT6e, tatkes it for granted 1 •that, its platform is to be ratihaal and definite, and its organisation* unified and made effective."
