There were 141 victims of the mtmicapalf shelter poisonimgj and of tihese 70 have died. It is suggested that the poisoning wiais due to tihe copper on tlie cooking vessels. Numerous cases are attributed to
other caMises. The authorities at the shelters' ordered the inmates to destroy the spirits obtained from certain diistilieriios.
