THE THREATENED LOCKOUT 300,000 PERSONS INVOLVED. (Received Last Night, 9.35 o'clock.) LONDON, December 21. It is calculated that, if, as generally expected, the spinning mills in Southeast Lancashire close owing to to-day's impending lock-out in the Blackburn and Burnley weaving distracts, about 300,000 will be rendered idle. Mr Opinion, President of t'he \iiutlgarciated Oardroom Association has declared tibial if tihe masters of tlhe South east Lancashire miills interfere, they must recko.n with the operalives of Oldham and otlher centres before the mills will be allowed to resume. He mentioned a number of old grievances which required remedying. It is reported in Bkickburn that Sir G. R. Askivith has asked for full details of the Lancashire dispute.
