TARATAHI-CARTERTON RACES.

The Taratahi-Garterton Racing Grub's Saiiremeir Meeting was held on the Grarev-'i/lile course yesterday. The weaithcr was lino, though threatening, and the attendance of tlno public was satisfactory. The course was in good ordeir, and tiro arrangements tor the convenicinee of tb© public were perfect. The big race of the day (tdio Counrty Gup) was won in fine style by Mr H. Hodge's Splash.
