LANGFORD AND MCVEA EASY WIN FOR THE LATTER. (Received Last Night, 9.45 o'clock.) SYDNEY, December 26. There was an enormous crowd to witness the fight to-day between,. Longford and McVea. The letter won easily. In the first ten rounds, McVea scored apparently as he liked with his left hook to the face. Langford replied with straight lefts to the jaw and rights.'swings to the body. The latter, however, were generally blocked v In the eleventh round McVea seemed to tire, and from thence to the seventeenth round Langford took the lead, fighting savagely. McVea's better boxing stood to him, however, rnd in the last two rounds fie again, brought his 'heavy left ir» to. play. Both were going strongly at the finish, though Langford's right eye was completely closed The verdiot in favour of McVea was unpopular with a large section of the crowd.
