IN SYDNEY SUBURBS
APPEAL TO HOUSEHOLDERS.

< SYDNEY, December 22. The water shortage continues. Some of the suburbs were, without warning, left waterless for hours. There, was a great outcry against the Water Bbardi, which stopped the supplies for garden and street watering, and issued an urgent appeal to householders to us© the water spariaigly. It is hoped that the depleted reserv/oirs' will be refilled early next week. i
