A large number of people- assem: bled in the Methodist Church, Mastextoni, tta,listen to the rendering of, "The Messiah/" by tihe Methodius* Ghoir, aasaSfced by several members of other chjoirS. The piece ,wa® rendered in perfect harmony, the chorustass being particularly well executed. Solos were sung by M>as V. Edroardsi, A.T.C.L., and Ma- H. F. Green. The success of the performance was uaidbuibtedJy due to the careful training imparted to the sinking by Mr- S. jI. RaOiplh). Miss E. Daniell was pianist, and she was assisted 1 by a very efficient wdhes-t tra. At tlie close of the entertainment, a htearty vote" of tlianks wa* accorded to all iJie helpers.
