Round l 12 was fast and exciting, and blows were exchanged frequently. Murphy used his right to the. body effectively, and Deft to face, wiMAe Leiofci© got in some good* body Wows. This was Murphy's round. In rounds 13 and 14 Murphy brightened up considerably, and tihe pace was fast, Murphy Handing heavy rights on Leokie's face. Leckie fought gamely, and his foot-work in. this ound was cievelr, but his blows seemed to fa-ck sting. The 15th round was fast, am** both men mixed it freely, Murphy tending heavy rigihtts to body and head. Leckie clinched- and seemed to tire, but all through he fought gamely' and sportsmanlike, but Murphy's reach and punch were more effective. The decision' im Murphy'* favour was well received.
