For tlie past eighteen months tho Motorists' Association has been in communication with the Featherston County Councill regarding the unsatisfactory state otf the Rimutaka road for motor traffic. , Motorists in. the district wilfl 1 , therefore, be pleased to learn that the Council yesterday decided to draw up plans for various improvements to the route. They haive also given permission to the Association to erect a platform bridge over Abbott's Greek at thte foot of the, hil'l, the completion of which will be greatly appreciated, by motorists.
