MEETING OF COMMITTEE..-< J Tlie monthly meeting of the North Wairarapa Benevolent Qommiftee was held at the Hospital yesterday. There were present,— Messrs J. B. Keith (presiding), D. J. Cameron, W. Fisher, J. O. Ewington, Jas. Miller; W. Morris, H. O'Leai-y, and ' Mrs ) Cairns. The treasurer reported ba-l-.l ance from last meeting £166.0s sd, .. receipts for week, £ll lis lid, total. £177.1251 4d. The: expenditure for the monlth amounted to £53 10s 2d, leaving a balance at date of £123 13s 2d. ; '. The list of recipients of charitable aid was considered in detail,, and the--secretary was instructed as to tlie action' to be taken in individual oases. The pay sheet for tlie niionth, amounting to £313 4s 9d', in respect of chaniltabfle aid and £25- 0s 5d in respect of the Sol-way Home,: was passed for payment. Tenders for supplies fork-the- Solway Home in respect of the current year wore accepted ais follows: Groceries, J. Graham aaid C 0..; meat, Morris, and Sons; milk, A. F. Bfllimgv. ton;, funerals', G.
