A match was played on the Park Oval on Saturday between Mastenton seniors and a representative junior team. In. tlhe absence of one of two of their men Masterton filled up their team with juniors. A. Thompson was elected captain of the juniors. Winning the toss he sent Masterton to the wickets. The ,t*am were all out for 80, of which Moorhouse contributed 35 and Esson 14. 0. Welch took 3 wickets for 12, E. Welch 3 for 16, A. Thompson 2 for 18, and S. Temple 1 for 24. The junior team have los„t six wickets for 128, Walker being top sooner witu 46.
