The usual monthly meeting of tli'a Directors of the Wainarapa Caledonian Society was held in. the Dominion Ball on Saturday la at 2.30 p.m. Where were present, —Messrs A. The New Zealand Clothing Factory (Dunedin) wrote" s-tating that owing to <the London strikes the firm wou'ldi be supply the Highland uniforms before the New Year, but thai the-order would be executed as, promptly as possible on-# receipt of the goods from Home.
Mr Gerald 0. Branson wrote asking the assistance of tlte Society* at a''faneiwell recital and pupils' concert on Friday next.— It was decid's ed that the request 'be agreed to, ! amd the matter :6f left in the hands of the Secretary and Mr •Walifcer Sutherland, the Society's hon. piper. ~, - It was- decided that Messrs ' W.. Sellar, F. J. Hnnn, and, the Secretary Itave fulf power to prepare.'the concert programme for New Year 5 night. " .
