BREAKING-UP SCHOOL AT RANGITUMAU.
A very enjoyable entertainment was carried out oa Tuesday evening last in connection, with the breaking up of the Rangituanau School, which took place in the Rangitumau Hall, quite 'a number of parents andfriends being present. A very enjoyable programme consisting of action, and character songs, pianoforte solos and duets, choruses and dialogues, Was given by the school children, who. under tihe training of Miss-Atkinson, , the teaoher, acquitted themselves in ■a very creditable manner. Songs were also given by Mrs Perham and Miss Bemble, . which add<xl -greatly to the charm of the evening. At the conclusion of the programme a very sumptuous supper was served around, followed by games, etc.; especially for the children's employment.
