NEW ZEALAND FORECAST By Telegraph—Prat Attcciation. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast: — Gales iverei experienced dm Coois and Foveaux Strait last night, but the wirds decreased to-day, but strong westerly bree/xis have prevailed. Cloudy and showery weather lias prevailed in the northern ;uuJ southern-most districts, and 011 the West Coast. Present indications' are for strong westerly winds, with a southerly tendency everywhere shortly. Changeable and showery weather is probable generally, the barometer rising unsteadily in the South.
