MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL

MONTHLY MEETING.

The monthly meeting of the Mas- i teuton County Council nvas held on I Tuesday afternoon, there being present, —Ors. A. Murray (in the chair), J. Miihr, A. J. Percy, H. J. Toogood, C. KebbeJl, and R,. F. Beethfam. A fetter was received from the Eketahuna County Council, stating that, the Council hiad a, grant of £SO (£ for £) Ifor straightening some of the bad corners on the Alfredton Road. The Eketahuna Oounity Council were of qpiniion that the Masterton iCbumty should he charged with fits share under the award of the comlmissiioner. Tine, estimate of the cost was' £B9 10s. In regard to the raising of a loan fdr'tine purpo.se of securing the granlt for the Alfredton-Hiliiemioa (Moroa) Road, Mi- J.
