THE LIEGE OUTRAGE
FIFTY PERSONS INJURED

BRUSSELS, December 12. The bomb, which exploded in a cinematograph theatre at Liege, was filled with nails. Some of the victims had their legs blown off. Fifty persons were injured. SUPPOSED AUTHOR DIES. ANARCHISM FEARED. (Received Last Night, 11 o'clock.) ' BRUSSELS, December 12. Verveck, the supposed author of the Liege outrage, died from the wounds from the bo<mib explosion. He had a loaded gun with powder and chlorate. • The victims mostly belonged to the working class, including many girls. The incident has aroused fears of a renewal of the outrages of seventeen years ago, when Liege was a centre of anarchism.
