TROUBLE AT GREYMOUTH

GREYMOUTH, Saturday;
The head men in the maintenance department, workshops ■ and;..pa' i the wharves iand others not engaged in running trains on polling day, revived a circular telling, them fo cease work at noon on polling day. They, made preparations accordingly, but at 11.40 a verbal message was sent to the i fo'remah of a wharf repairing gang-on Thursday, saying that'work was to continue until! o'clock. The men decl|jp3, as shej| had worked from six o clock to suit the tide. Next morning including three permanents, were suspended, and are still idle.
