THE BANKING BILL.
NUMEROUS PROTESTS. , (Received December 8, 10.10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, December 7. The House read the Banking Bill a third time. Hon A. Fisher (Premier) indicated that the banks wculd be opened probably before next session. Ho l ©iterated the statement tha the had no intention of lading the State Savings Banks. Mr Fisher has received numerous protests from 'bankers against the proposals to reduce the Federal bank gold i - eserves.
