LONDON WOOL SALES

The New Zealand LoaJt and Me cantile Agency Company, Ltd., hare received the following cablegram from their London house: — Wool sales: —As compared with last sales closing rates, prices are higher by about par to 5 per cent for lambs, greasy merino medium, coarse greasy crossbred, scoured merino super, greasy merino inferior and greasy crossbred lambs. Higher by about 5 per cent for scoured merino medium, coarse crossbred slipe, fine greasy crossbred, fine crossbred slipe, and fine scoured crossbred. Higher by 5 to 7i per cent for scoured merino, coarse scoured crossbred, medium greasy crossbred, medium crossbred slipe, and medium scoured crossbred. The sales progress firmly. There is a fair American demand for crossbred wool.
