SICKNESS BENEFIT

LONDON, December 8. The Friendly Societies have petitioned the House of Loras to ameud the Insurance Bill so as to enable payment for a sickness benefit to be made from the first day of a person's illness instead of the forth day. The British Constitution Association urges the House of Lords to reject or submit the B:!l to a poll of the people.
