Tine monthly ,-meeting of fine Mas-ted-ton Trust Lands Trustees was iheld last night, there being present— Messrs E. G. Eton (chairman), C. E. Daniel, T. B. Michel!!, T.. Wagg, 0. Piragivefll, and J. H. Pauling. Apologies for absence were" received from Messrs W. H. Jackson, Rf. Kifiahagen and D. Caseltberg. An application from Oofc A. Hendry for a matriculation grant was irefeured. to the special committee. The- secretary of the Mastextoai Fare Brigade wrote asking far a> contribution towards the Jen.kins benefit, fund'. A refund of £1 16s, hiailf the Town HhOIT rent, wtos nieide a& a donation. Tlhe Scholarship Cbmnaiittee recommended that the 'application of Olive Sutherland far a scholarship ■grant -be not granted.—The matter ■was Jheld over till next meeting. The repooito of the Building OomnAittee were read and adopted. The treasurer rejioxted a debit bal■atuce of £BB4 3& sd. Accounts totalling £126 7s were pa/ssed for payment.
