The Rev. T. J. Smith, of Pic ton. who is well-known in Eketahuna and Featlierston, is in such indifferent health that he lias been compelled to. enter tho Cambridge Sanatorium. Mr Charles Flannery died in the Westport Hospital on Tuesday at the age of 67 years. Mr Flaxmery was one of the early mining pioneers of the West Coast, and ;for many years had resided at Charleston.
