PALMERSTON N., Last Night. I Messrs Abraham and Williams, i Ltd., report: —At our Palmerston sale to-day no sliocp came forward, but there was a fair entry of cattle, which sold at late rates. Quotations: Fat cows, £4 10s, £4 15s to £5 9s; forward cows, £3 to £3 ss; store cows, 30s to 355; weanors, 15s; bulls, to £2 Is. > JOHXSOXVILLE STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) JOHNSONVILLE, Last Night. Messrs Abraham and WilJiams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville salo as follows: —"Wo had a good cilery of sheep and bullocks. Sheep were easier, while- bullocks sold at late rates. Prime heavy bullocks itiado £9 15s to £10; medium bullocks, £9 to £9 10s; lighter, £8 10s to £8 15s; light, £7 15s to £8; veal-' ers, 535; lighter, 21s to 30s; heavy wethers, 16s to 16s Id ; medium wethers, 15s 6d; prime heavy ewes, 15s 2d ; good ewes, 13s to 13s 6d; medium ewes, 12s Id to 12s 9d; light, lis to lis 3d; extra prime lambs, 14s 7d to 15s 4d; prime lairibs, 13s to 13s 9d; plain, 9s to 10s. PAHIATUA STOCK SALE. ■ Messrs Abraham and Williams, ' Ltd., report: —Our entry for tho j above sal© was limited to cattle only, no sheep coming forward owing to .shearing. We quote as follows :—lB- - steers, £2 9s to £3 18s ; empty heifers, £2 14s to £3 14s; bidls, £2 15s to £4 Is; forward cows, £3 10s to £4 2s 6d; cow and calf, £4 7s; 2-' year steers, to £3 18s; fat cows, £5 7s 6d; springing heifers, £5 5s to £5 7s 6d; horses, £3 to £8; wea.ner, heif- i ers, 30s 6d. MASTERTON STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows on their Mastertoji stock salo held in the Solway yards yesterday:—We yarded 900 | sheep and 100 head of cattle, and have to report a good sale, nearly every pea being sold before the close of the sale. Quotations: Down 2-tooth wethers and ewes, 8s lid to lis; fat and forward ewes, 10s 4d to 10s 9d; cull 2-tooth wethers and ewes, 3s 9d to ss; store ewes, 8s Id; 2-tooth wethers lis to 12s 6d; 2-year dairy heifers, £! 10s to £4 15s; store cows, £8 10s to £4 15s; fat cows (light), £4 2s 6d to £5. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., report as follpws-:-r7-We held'our s&le yesterday, w-hen we offered a fair -yarding of sheep and a few pens of young cattle ■to a*sgood attendance. Sheep met wdth*g<}od competition, and we cleared the whole fefrour yarding at prices satisfactory to vendors, but cattle were neglected. We made the following sales:—Dry store ewes, woolly, at 12s 6d; s.m. woolly, low in condition, with 100 per cent lambs, all counted, 14s 8d; cm. ewes, shorn, 100 per cent lambs, all counted, 6s 9d, 7s 9d, and 8s; cull dry ewes, 6s lid.
