THE MASTER TON CANDIDATES.
Tike three candidates for the Masterton seat—Messrs Herbert, 'Hogg aind Sykes ' addressed large meetings of electors ilast evening. • The former occupied ,the Town Hta ,ir and was given a good fearing. Messrs Hogg and Sykes occupied a stand in front of the Borough. Council Qiamibeirs, where a great crowd assembled*. The whole of titoe candidates spoke vigorously, and traversed itiie ground already covered in recent speeches. There was. a islaght disposition to hieckOe in the open aiir, but there was no display of rowdyism. The committees- of all the candidates' are very sanguine, and .the result is likely to be -. interesting. ,
