THOMPSON—PAYNE PICTURES.
The; change of programme at the Foresters' Hall last evening drew a' laii-ge attendance, and much pleasure was derived' from, the entertainment. The films 1 were brigibt and .attract-, ive, and the muTsic of the same description, sufficient for-the most exacting. The drama® were a granfd lot, and a credit to their makers. "The Quaker Mother'' and "The Tlnree Arabian Princesses" were two miagnlificent works of art and beauty, tine mounting and dressing being superb. Their unfolding was a pleasure indeed.* A ideally fine Western drama was "Tli© Rose of Kentucky,' each full of situations which pleased and thrri'Ued. A picturesque sce-ndc wasi "Arabian- .filgruamages." In comedy pictures tire firm excel, and w it,h "The New .Picture • Operator" and "The Stumbling B'lhck" a distinct triumph was scored. Tlie comics called forth shrieks of delisted merriment. T}ie programme will Ik> I repeated this evening.
