BRISBANE, December 4. The matoll between the M.C.C. team and Queensland was continued on a bowler's wicket. The Queensland batting collapsed, the remaining 8 wickets only adding 59 runs. The bowling of Barnes and Foster was - splendid, and tile-fielding was smart. Requiring 140 runs, England opened carefully, scoring 'being stow. Mead had a lucky innings, and Foster batted well.
