ULTIMATUM REJECTED

ADVANCE ON TEHERAN

TEHERAN, December 1. Russia has declined to extend the time limit for accepting her ultimatum. The Mejliss has rejected her ultimatum although Sir E. Grey urgently telegraphed advising them to comply. Thereupon the Russian troops at Resiht were ordered to advance on Teheran. The Minister of Foreign Affairs has resigned.

Three men, firing seven shots, killed Alaed Dowleh, ex-Governor of Ears, •as he was leaving 'his residence at Teheran. Ali was suspected of intriguing with Sipahdir for the ex-Sliah's return.
