STEAMER STRIKES A ROCK.
AID SUMMONED, THEN SILENCE.

VANCOUVER, December 1. The steamer Tees, which has many passengers on board, struck a rock off the coast. Aid was summoned by wireless telegraphy, a.nd then there was silence. A tug has been despatched ho the scene of the accident.
